First off, I truly doubt most church goers understand what having 1st Century church in the 21st century would take number one.

Second, the consequences of such a church can you handle it? Are you willing to handle it?
Jesus said something that was unbelievably baffling to me the first time I read it. I actually disagreed with Him on it. ( Imagine that? What a 🤡eh? ) I don’t disagree anymore. ( still a 🤡tho )
Luke 14:25-35
Jesus is basically saying count the cost before you decide to be my disciple. To be His disciple you must be willing to give Him everything. To give up everything. ( there’s a difference )
Well in my arrogance / ignorance. I questioned why does someone have to count the cost before being your disciple? Who wouldn’t want to be your disciple?
Well millions, hundreds of millions if you believe the numbers concerning acting Christians in the world today. I don’t believe the numbers by the way. In my opinion a billion believers is too many people praying, crying, serving, & worshipping the Lord their God for the church to be in the shape it’s in.

Disciples… not so much.
Ahhh but you wanna say, “whaddya mean? If you are a believer than you are a disciple!”
